The Challenge

In Kidera, Buyende District, Uganda, hundreds of children are forced to study under trees or in makeshift shelters due to a lack of proper school facilities. The harsh weather conditions and limited resources make it difficult for them to focus on their education and succeed in school. Many families in the region struggle to provide the basic necessities, let alone quality education for their children.

Our Response

Immaculate Charity has launched an ambitious project to construct a 5-classroom school block in Kidera, which is currently nearing completion. This school will provide a safe, stable, and supportive learning environment for these children, giving them the opportunity to learn without distraction and thrive academically. By ensuring that every child has access to quality education, we are not only building classrooms—we are building futures.
