Build a School: Transforming Education in Kidera, Buyende District
Immaculate Charity is on a mission to provide quality education and essential facilities for the children of Kidera, Buyende District. We are building a school that will serve as a beacon of hope and opportunity for generations to come. The school will be constructed in multiple phases, with each phase costing $50,000. It will be the only private school that can give better education in the area/village, and the only other option is the government school that is like 3KM away from the village. We will have reduced the distance children walk (barefoot) to the government school. Most government schools are in poor conditions which makes parents decide not to take their children to school. With $100,000 we can build a modern school with 10 class rooms, 2 Office rooms, 1 kitchen and toilet block. Each class can or would accommodate around 45 students. The total number of estimated students the school will be able to accommodate is about 450 students.
School Land
Phase 1: Laying the Foundation
In the first phase, we will:- Build 5 classrooms (accommodating both nursery and primary students).
- Construct a 5-room toilet/latrine for proper sanitation.
- Build a kitchen and an office to cater to the school’s administrative needs.
Phase 2: Expanding the Dream
Once Phase 1 is complete, we will move to Phase 2, where we will:- Build 5 additional classrooms to complete the primary school structure.
- Construct another 5-room toilet/latrine to ensure proper hygiene.
- Enhance the kitchen and office space to cater to the growing school population.
Budget for Phase 2: $50,000
Finishing Touches
After the structural work is completed in both phases, we will:- Install doors and windows for proper ventilation.
- Paint all the classrooms, the kitchen, office, and toilet facilities to create a safe and vibrant learning environment.
Final Vision: A School That Empowers the Future
Upon the completion of all phases, the school will include:- 10 Classrooms: 3 nursery classrooms and 7 primary classrooms, providing ample learning space for hundreds of children.
- 1 Toilet Block: Equipped with sanitation facilities to support students and staff.
- A Kitchen: Ensuring that children receive nutritious meals during their school day.
- An Administration Office: Serving as the hub for school operations.
